Engaging and Skill-Building Activities: Our games actively engage children in crucial activities such as matching, pairing, ordering, grouping, and sorting. These practices are designed to cultivate essential skills including categorization, conceptualization, generalization, abstraction, memory, language, math, visual perception, fine motor skills, accuracy, attention, and focus. Children will explore a diverse range of topics from shapes and colors to animals, vehicles, and professions, all within an enjoyable learning environment.
Progressive Difficulty: Our apps feature levels arranged by increasing difficulty. Initial levels are designed to gently introduce critical thinking and problem-solving. As children advance, exercises become progressively more challenging, fostering continuous growth and development.
Focused Learning Environment: We deliberately avoid distractions such as pop-ups, unnecessary animations, and noisy feedback. Our applications are designed to be safe and secure for children, completely free from advertisements, unsafe external links, and intrusive pop-ups. In-app purchases are always limited by parental control.
Beneficial for Special Needs and Broader Audiences: Our experience has shown that STEP BY STEP apps are incredibly valuable for children with special needs, including those with learning, communication, emotional, behavioral, physical, and/or developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Tourette Syndrome). They serve as effective tools in speech-language therapy and occupational therapy. Furthermore, our apps have proven beneficial for adults with disabilities or dementia. Functional (Motor) Accessibility: Any interaction requiring drag or swipe gestures can be customized to a tap gesture. This feature is particularly helpful for children with fine motor impairments, allowing them to engage with the app effortlessly.
Graphic (Visual) Accessibility: We prioritize large, clear images and high contrast between foreground and background elements. We minimize partially transparent images and ensure animations remain on screen long enough for comprehensive processing, aiding users with visual impairments.
Content Accessibility: While designed for typical children, our graphic content is intentionally mature and realistic, rather than overly juvenile. This approach makes our apps appropriate and engaging for older children and adults with disabilities, allowing them to enjoy consistent characters and drawings across various age groups. We also avoid juvenile fonts and objects.
